MALM .vs. MICKE

I've decided to redecorate my room and I'm having a hard time deciding whether i want the MALM dressing table or the MICKE desk which is bigger and has more space but the MALM looks nice and sleeker!!!!???

Pro's & Cons for MALM

MALM= elegant and simple design :)

• PRO=sleek and simple design
• CON=draw has lots of space that you cant use up at the back
• PRO=glass top (optional)
• CON=a bit small
• CON= more expensive

Pros & Cons for MICKE

• PRO= more space bigger
• PRO= CHEAPER
• PRO= 2 pull out drawers

Review - Designer Brands Kabuki brush

heheh sorry had to add this in... :D

So i have a review for you and it's on the Designer Brands Kabuki brush - I'm not sure if you can purchase this brand in other countries though :( - Purchased in Western Australia.

This brush is made out of goat hair - which i don't really like because it's scratchy on your face and it came from an animal :( i didn't find out until after i had bought it though so yeh....

I do like the compact size of it though i think its really nice and can fit perfectly in your purse for any touch ups during the day, but it's also quite annoying as i cant hold it properly :) I also like the simple design of it though its sleek and plain but in a way that's good too so yeh.

I'm not sure if i like it yet or not it has some good things about it but also some bad so I'm sitting in the middle :) Thank-you for viewing this post and i hope you have a lovely day/night

BEAUTY TAG -would you rather

So here is the tag that i was meant to post last night but i ran out of time because i had to study but now that's out of the way i can do this tag and I'm not sure which one it is and what it's called but i got it off the internet :) so here goes:

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows? I would rather loose all my palettes and eye shadows because i CANNOT live with out my lip products and mascara and eyeliner are like 2 of my biggest loves in the whole world :)

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again? I would rather chop off all my hair because it can grow back and then when it does i can get frequent hair cuts again (I'm a thinker hehehe :)

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek? This is hard but I would rather have a pink cheek because they suit me better i reckon... plus i love them sooo much :)

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup? I would definitely spend it all on make-up because it is my passion and a hobby and i just cannot live without it!!!!

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick? Most likely eyeliner as lipstick now don't hate but i have done it before and also lipstick on your eyes is just WEIRD!!!

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora? Well we don't have  Sephora's in Australia so M.A.C although I've heard Sephora has like everything but so does the internet so M.A.C :)

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life? Um 1 eyeshadow because lip colours change every season and they really make or break a look so yeh 1 eyeshadow :)

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter? Um Winter clothes in summer because we have this great invention called air con and you can take off layers.. in Summer you don't really have thick jumpers to layer on anyway :)

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round? BRIGHT NAILS because they are gorgeous and fun and bubbly and happy :D

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product? AAAAAHHHHHHH this is the hardest question of my LIFE um not sure can i pass??? but if i really had to i would give up my favourite eyeshadow and buy one in a different colour.. i would NEVER give up any of my lip products EVER!!!!!!!

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun? Ponytail because you can do so many ponytail style but with a bun it's just a bun...

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss? never be able to paint my nails again because there's always white out... lol jks i wouldn't use that :)

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday? um sharpie them in because i would look terrible with no eyebrows not being offensive or anything but yeh

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish? live without ........... um this is sooo hard why did this have to be a question......... i think nail polish because my make up collection has taken me years to build and i haven't had nail polish for that long and plus i prefer makeup to nails anyway :D

HEY, so I'm in yr 9 at school obviously and guess what this is absolutely sooooo exciting and i know that this is sort of irrelevant to beauty but i got into the ITALIAN TOUR for school next year I'm so excited and we visit places all over Italy it's going to be soooooo much fun and I'm sooo excited and yeah i cant wait!!!!!!!! My Mac Blushes

So these are my M.A.C blushes and I've included swatches so you know what they look like but i only have a few so don't get too excited :)

Well Dressed

1. Well Dressed - This is one of my most reached for blushers - it really is a beautiful pale pink with the slightest amount of sheen. I am a in the middle of light to medium skin tone and it suits me perfectly. You don't need to be an expert to apply this, it is build-able and blends well.

Pinch O' Peach

2. Pinch O' Peach - I use this as one of my everyday blush for school. I got to a private girls school and makeup is banned. Yet, most girls including me wear it anyway. This blush is matte and a peachy-pink natural shade that is similar to my natural flush. It doesn't last ALL day on me but very close. I would repurchase as it is a mid-range brand therefore affordable for a high school student and is everything I need in an everyday blush.

Fleur Power

3. Fleur Power - It's a coral pink satin almost matte colour which is quite bright and pigmented. It shows up easily on my skin and gives a warm bright coral pink glow on my face. Despite the little sparkles on the pan, I hardly find any glitter when it's on my face. When applied, I almost feel it's matte. Its very long lasting  but it's a bit too pigmented. You really need to use it with a light hand. And I think it's a gorgeous colour for medium skin tones.

Peony Petal

4. Peony Petal - I bought this blush to go with my cool toned make-up looks.  a lot of the times cool toned blushes don't look too great on my complexion but this one is amazing. Beautiful bright barbie cool toned pink.And it has great pigmentation.

Beauty/Skin tips

Hey everyone so i have a couple of beauty/and skin tips for you!!! :)

BEAUTY

1. try this for when you apply eyeliner on the waterline :) ; so what you do is get a Q-tip and wipe down your waterline so it's not wet (try not to blink) then apply your eyeliner on your waterline as per usual and after this is done get a black eyeshadow and apply that on top so it doesn't budge throughout the day :)

2. This is really a tip for beginners but a tip all the while :)  apply a primer/or base to your eyelids before you put on any of your eye shadows, and liners as the primer/base helps them stay throughout the day, they are also really beneficial as your not wasting all your eyeshadow trying to build up the colour if you use a primer/base the colours stand out and really POP using the smallest amount of eyeshadow :)
SKIN
1. this may be a really simple tip but it is sooooo worth it; try not to touch your face without your hands being washed because you don't know how dirty your hands really are and if you knew you wouldn't dare touch your face so PLEASE avoid it otherwise your putting dirt and grime on your face and that's not really the best and it can cause breakouts on your face. So before you do your makeup in the morning, touching it up throughout the day, or applying more for a night out ALWAYS wash your hands :)

2.This tip can be really annoying and feel really time consuming but it is really good for your skin and you'll LOVE the results it brings ; before you put on your makeup always cleanse your face using a nice and gentle cleanser, use a toner to remove any excess dirt and even out your skin, and then moisturize using any type you like :) but try to stick to lighter moisturizes as they have more water in them and water is really good for your skin but always remember everyone's skins different so pick one up that suits your skin type. This is a really good routine to try and continue with as it leaves your skin looking healthy and literally glowing, you'll be smiling from ear to ear after a while when you start to realize the results that this simple routine will give you :) The Natio cleansers.toners,and moisturizes are my favourite to use and there all natural too!!

Apologies

Hey everybody i just really wanted to apologize for how long i was away for and that i haven't been blogging much lately but i will try and have at least 3 blogs up per week that are actually relevant to beauty but and i also wanted to apologize for the lighting whenever i take pictures it's sooooo bad but i will try to fix that maybe using an actual camera and then uploading them onto my computer so I'll figure that one out and then hopefully sooner rather than later you'll have some good photos that you can actually see !!! and maybe someday in the future you will actually see me and I might put a video up of a tutorial who knows??? anyway love you guys please comment on any posts and let your friends know about my blog! :) blog yah later

Review - Sally Hanson Nails&Cuticles Hand Creme

So tonight I'm doing another review but this time it's on the Sally Hanson nails&Cuticles Hand creme in Shea butter. i bought this because i really wanted a nice hand creme that nourished my nails as well as my cuticles and hands! i have been using this every day for about a week and a half now and i have the sample size and it still hasn't run out!!!!!! but what i love about it is that it smells really good like peaches and citrus and something else maybe pineapple or melon??? it doesn't smell like Shea butter!!!!! but i have also found out that it is super sparkly and moisturizes for 24 hours but i would say probably 12 hours really :) A good thing about the brand Sally Hanson is that it is available at almost every chemist/pharmacy/or drugstore whatever you want to call it :) or target and other department stores so if you do run out it is really easy to find cause you can just go pick one up just about anywhere!!!!!! So that's my review id give it a high 4 out of 5 mainly because it moisturizes all your hand, the smell is amazing, it sparkles !!!!!!! (I'm obsessed with glitter and shiny stuff!!!! *****), and it's easy to get! the only reason i didn't give it a five is because the formula/creme feels a bit dry but still moisture rich????? it's weird maybe it's just my one but yeah so that's the only problem i had with it but otherwise definitely will be buying again and the price range in Australian dollars is around $4-$6.50 so that's it hope you have a wonderful day/night , summer/winter and I'll post yah later bye
